Foodie EventsJune 18, 2009 The Ward Melville Heritage Organization Hosts "Jewels and Jeans" At Three Village InnThe Ward Melville Heritage Organization (WMHO) (P.O. Box 572, Stony Brook, NY 11790 [631] 751-2244 www.wmho.org) will celebrate its 70th Anniversary with a "Jewels & Jeans" event on Wednesday, June 24 at the Three Village Inn (150 Main Street, Stony Brook, NY 11790 [631] 751-0555 www.threevillageinn.com) from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. 
The evening will honor The Lessing Family, recipients of the Ward Melville HERITAGE Award, and Dr. Shirley Strum Kenny, president of Stony Brook University, as Woman of the Decade. Proceeds will benefit WMHO's educational programs, WMHO Youth Corps and help fund repairs to historic properties. Guests may dress in their finest jewels and jeans while feasting on an eight-course menu created by award-winning chef Guy Reuge. Seating is limited.
